DST-DEGREEZ/6 is an aqueous, neutral water-based industrial cleaner engineered by DST Chemicals to remove oils, greases, and oxide contaminants from sensitive metal surfaces. Because it operates near a neutral pH, it provides a highly effective cleaning solution for delicate alloys that cannot withstand aggressive alkaline or acidic baths.

• Primary Function: Safe neutral degreasing and oxide removal.
• Metal Compatibility: Multi-metal safe; optimized for aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, zinc, and other sensitive alloys.
• Concentration pH: Approximately 6.5 at 20°C, making it a true neutral formulation.
• Operating Concentration: Typically mixed at 5% to 10% in water.
• Operating Temperature: Effective at low temperatures starting above 35°C.
• Physical State: Clear, slightly yellow liquid with a density of ~1.13 g/ml.

• Substrate Protection: Unlike highly alkaline options like DST-DEGREEZ/8X, the neutral 6.5 pH entirely eliminates the risk of surface etching, staining, or hydrogen embrittlement on aluminum and soft alloys.
• Advanced Demulsification: The formula forces washed oils and greases to rapidly separate and float cleanly to the surface. This allows an oil skimmer to pull out contaminants, preventing the solution from saturating and significantly lengthening the total bath lifetime. 
• Process Flexibility: Fully compatible with spray washing machines, ultrasonic tanks, immersion lines, and automated fluid systems.
