DST-DEGREEZ/8X is a highly alkaline, water-based industrial degreaser manufactured by DST Chemicals. It sits near the top of the brand's alkaline range and is specifically engineered to target severe carbonized grease, heavy industrial oils, and stubborn contaminants on robust metal parts.

• Primary Function: High-strength degreasing and removal of heavy industrial contaminants.
• Concentrate pH: Approximately 12.3 at standard operating parameters, making it one of the most alkaline formulations in the product line.
• Physical Properties: Supplied as a liquid concentrate with a density of roughly 1.1 g/ml.
• Low-Temperature Efficiency: Operates as a foam-free cleaner starting at low temperatures from 38°C, significantly reducing facility heating costs.

• Demulsifying Formulation: Like other premium cleaners from DST Chemicals, it forces oils and greases to float cleanly to the surface. This allows an oil skimmer to remove them efficiently, preventing the wash bath from becoming saturated and extending the fluid's lifespan.
• Substrate Considerations: Due to its high pH of 12.3, it is exceptionally powerful for ferrous metals like steel and cast iron. However, care must be taken regarding contact time and concentration if processing sensitive non-ferrous metals like aluminum or zinc to avoid surface etching.
