The Legend is a unique balancing machine, the ultimate solution for balancing crankshafts, flywheels and dampers. The Hines Industries Model HC-500 Legend balancing machine is a computer based, dynamic (two plane) or static (single plane) manual load, single station, balancing machine. The Legend utilizes a rugged hard-bearing suspension that gives high sensitivity and permanent calibration. Part set ups are menu driven, allowing an operator to quickly change between single-plane and two-plane balance operations. The balancer will calculate amount, angle and multiple-hole corrections. Adjustable stanchions allow for easy changeover for a wide range of part sizes. The base is made of concrete for stability and mass. The Legend Series provides the latest in technology available today for engine balancing.

Legend Balance computer

Based on the design of the Industrial Hines Cradle balancer (HC), this machine has many special features and software for balancing crankshafts. It features a PC utilizing the Windows 10 operating system, with a flat panel touch screen. It has User-friendly menus for operator ease of use. Large characters are displayed on a 22” high resolution Flat Panel display. Software includes many screens tailored to balancing crankshafts and engines for performance racing.
