The BB-86 is a fully portable and easy-to-operate tool designed for accurately refacing diesel engine sleeve counterbores. Ensuring a perfect seal between the engine block and wet liners is critical during engine overhauls or in cases of coolant leakage. This requires precise machining of the counterbore seat—an operation that the BB-86 performs with speed and accuracy.

The BB-86 centers automatically and is secured to the engine block using a powerful electromagnet. Its design allows it to mount directly on the sealing surface of the engine block, ensuring that the refaced counterbores remain perfectly parallel to that surface.

Versatile and efficient, the BB-86 can be used on both installed and removed engine blocks—including underfloor, built-in engine configurations—making it an ideal tool for workshops and field repairs alike.
