In the machining industry, two advanced cutting materials play a crucial role: PCD and CBN.

PCD, short for polycrystalline diamond, is known for being one of the hardest materials available. Because of its exceptional wear resistance and sharp cutting edges, PCD is used for machining aluminum cilinderheads. In applications that demand mirror finish and long tool life, PCD has become an indispensable choice.

CBN, or polycrystalline cubic boron nitride, is the second-hardest material used in tooling.(After Diamond) Unlike PCD, it performs extremely well at high temperatures, making it ideal for machining cast iron. Its stability, even under heavy loads, allows for consistent and reliable performance in demanding operations.

We have made a selection in the most used sizes and shapes for a very great price.
