PME Filter Cartridge POF105 (Extra Fine / 1 Micron)

The PME POF105 filter is a high efficiency filter (Lube filter). Cartridges remove grit, metal and dirt from honing oil.

• Final Finishing (Finishing): When the bore is almost to size and you switch to fine finishing stones (400 to 600+ grit) to create the final crosshatch and surface roughness (Ra value).
• Advanced Materials (PCD/CBN Applications): If you are machining components that require the extreme precision of the PCD or CBN tools. Even a microscopic 5-micron particle in the oil can cause scratches on a high-end finished surface.
• Critical Tolerances: For applications with extremely tight tolerances, such as hydraulic plungers, fuel injectors, or high-performance racing engines.
• Extending Fine Stone Life: Microscopic metal dust can accumulate and jam between the grains of fine honing stones (stone loading). The POF105 prevents this by trapping the micro-dust immediately.
