The PME POF110 filter is a high efficiency filter (Lube filter). Cartridge remove grit, metal and dirt from honing oil.

When to use the POF110 (Fine / 10 Micron)
The POF110 is used when the machine needs to remove a lot of stock and the honing oil quickly becomes contaminated with coarse metal chips and stone grit (swarf).
- Rough Honing (Roughing): When sizing raw cylinders or liners using coarse stones (e.g., 150 grit or coarser).
- High Stock Removal: When you need to remove material quickly. A finer filter (like the POF105) would clog up in no time due to the volume of metal shavings.
- Honing Cast Iron: Cast iron releases a black, grainy sludge during honing. The POF110 handles this volume much better without causing an immediate drop in oil flow rate.
- Production Honing: Used as a general, all-round filter for standard tolerances in engine machine shops.
This filter fits directly into the following models:
1. Vertical Cylinder Honing Machines (Automotive & Marine)
These are the most common engine rebuilding and block reconditioning machines that use these standard filters:
- Sunnen CK-10 & CK-21
- Sunnen CV-616 (Cylinder King)
- Sunnen SV-10, SV-15, SV-20, SV-25, and SV-30 series
2. Horizontal Honing Machines (Industrial & Rod Honing)
